I have a deep love and appreciation for African American Spirituals. I have arranged five of my favorites and I offer them freely to anyone who wants to perform them. Be aware these are not traditional arrangements. There are many great traditional arrangements of these five songs, there is no need to present these wonderful melodies in yet another transitional setting. I have tried to infuse each song with elements of beauty, vitality, and the unexpected. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
